The weekend after our trip to Rock Island we decided that we needed to get away for a couple of days. We hadn't been on a trip together that didn't involve friends or family since our honeymoon. So I (Jon again) booked us a room at the Marriott (LONG LIVE PRICELINE.COM) in Omaha. 
We checked in on Friday night and the next day we went to the Henry-Doorly Zoo. That is one of the best zoos in the country. It was huge, fairly priced, and packed with fun exhibits. If you are ever in Omaha, I highly recommend it.
They had an indoor rain forest with this really hot guy in it....
....and an indoor desert complete with an exotic desert princess.
